Disha Patani garners 40 million followers on Instagram

Bollywood starlet Disha Patani has become the fastest Indian actress to garner 40 million followers on Instagram, beating the likes of Anushka Sharma, Alia Bhatt, and Katrina Kaif. Disha achieved this milestone feat in online space after making a memorable debut in 2016 with ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’. Later, she impressed audiences by portraying memorable roles in movies like Bharat and Malang.

Alia Bhatt garnered 40 million followers on Instagram after seven years of her debut. It was in 2019 that the actress touched this magical number and she currently has 49.2 million followers. Anushka Sharma, who debuted in 2008, touched the 40 million followers mark in 2020. The actress now has 43 million followers on Instagram, while Katrina has 44.2 million followers and she reached the milestone in 15 years.

As Disha Patani is just four years old in the industry, her followers on Instagram is likely to increase in the coming years, considering the charm and hotness she exudes. She is also known for sharing fitness tips which also plays a crucial role in elevating her popularity in online spaces.

Disha Patani’s upcoming movie is ‘KTina’, which is being directed by Ashima Chibber. This movie enrolled by Ekta Kapoor also stars Akshay Oberoi, Sunny Singh, Arjan Bajwa, and Vijay Raaz in other prominent roles.

An official announcement regarding the release date of the movie will be made soon after theaters in the country reopens after the coronavirus lockdown restrictions.
