Riyadh: It is reported that more than 63 lakh transactions were done in the month of October through Abshar, the electronic platform of the Ministry of Interior in Saudi Arabia. These transactions include various services for citizens, expatriates and visitors.
According to information released by the Saudi Press Agency, more than 3.8 million transactions were made for personal services such as identity verification, electronic renewal of national ID cards, and family registration. This includes exit and re-entry visas, residency permits, electronic passport renewal etc.
Renewal of vehicle registration, renewal of driving license and other vehicle related services were handled through Directorate of Public Security.
