The actress last appeared in Pranayam, which was released in 2011. The film had Mohanlal in the lead role, and Dhanya played the role of the superstar’s daughter.

And now, after nine years of hiatus, Dhanya Mary Varghese is making a comeback to Mollywood. According to reports, Dhanya will be next seen in a movie that will have Tovino Thomas in the lead role.

This upcoming film has been titled Kaane Kaane, and it is directed by Manu Ashokan who has previously helmed the acclaimed flick Uyare. After the grand success of Mayanadhi, Aishwarya Lekshmi will be sharing screen space with Tovino in this movie.

“I am happy to play a small role with today’s youth icons Tovino Thomas and Aiswarya Lekshmi in the upcoming movie ‘Kaane Kaane’ directed by Manu Ashokan, the man behind “Uyare”. Happy that I could be amongst several familiar technicians including cinematographer Alby, with whom I have worked in my previous films,” said Dhanya.

According to reports, ‘Kaane Kaane’ will be an emotional romantic drama. More details regarding the cast and crew of the movie will be unveiled in the coming days.
