Celebrities pour wishes as Varalaxmi Sarathkumar announces her directorial debut

It was on last Sunday that Kollywood heroine Varalaxmi Sarathkumar announced her new movie Kannamoochi, which marks the actress’ directorial debut. The actress, on her Twitter page, also shared the first look poster of the movie and thanked fans for their love.

“Finally stepping into this new avatar as a Director..thank you for amazing wishes n response. I will work hard to do my best n not let you dow..thank you all so much for the love,” wrote Varalaxmi on her Twitter page.

The first look poster of the movie suggests that Kannamoochi will be a film that will handle a theme related to violence against women in society.

Thenandal Films who have previously bankrolled blockbuster movies like Mersal is producing Kannamoochi.

As the first look poster of the movie went viral on the online spaces, several female celebrities including Trisha, Andreah Jeremiah, and Kajal Agarwal have conveyed their wishes to Varalaxmi.
