CBSE class 12 results announced

Girls outshine boys in Class 12 examination results announced by Central Board of Secondary Education on Monday.The girls outperformed boys with 92.15 per cent, while the pass percentage of boys was 86.19 percent. The pass percentage of transgender students is 66.67 percent. Thiruvananthapuram region in Kerala has the highest percentage of success with 97.67 per cent, followed by 97.05 per cent in Bengaluru and Chennai at 96.17 per cent.

A total of 10,59,080 students cleared the class 12 exam successfully, with a pass percentage 88.78 percent. The pass percentage improved from the last year was which was 83.40 per cent.

Like the previous year, the Board has declared the class 12 results for Arts, Commerce and Science streams on the same day. The CBSE class 12 result 2020 is available on its official website -cbseresults.nic.in or cbse.nic.in.

The board has announced that no merit list will be released this year due to COVID-19. The results of 400 students cannot be computed as per the decided assessment scheme, their results will be announced later, said the board.

Human Resources Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal congratulated the successful students on Twitter.

As soon as the news broke about the Class 12 results, Twitter users were bombarded with hilarious meme and jokes, with most of them taking a dig at relatives and neighbours who are the most eager to know the results.
