Bulgarian Minister applauds Oman for Galaxy Leader crew rescue

MUSCAT : In a statement to the Oman News Agency, Minister Georgiev expressed the heartfelt gratitude of the Bulgarian government, its people, and institutions for Oman’s instrumental role in the operation. “This initiative does not only represent cooperation and diplomatic efforts, but also confirms the deep friendship between the two countries,” he remarked.

The Galaxy Leader crew, consisting of 25 nationals from Bulgaria, Ukraine, the Philippines, Mexico, and Romania, was transported from Sanaa to Muscat on Wednesday via a Royal Air Force of Oman flight, as confirmed by Galaxy Maritime, the car carrier’s owner.
