British man who lost penis fits a new one on his arm

NIRMAL YESODA

The curious case of Briton Malcolm MacDonald seems out of a science fiction movie. The man who lost his penis due to severe blood infection is apparently growing a new penis on his arm. Interestingly, MacDonald has named his new penis ‘Jimmy’.

The 45-year-old man initially noted his fingers, toes and penis turning black a few years ago. When he consulted a doctor, he came to know that it is due to severe blood infection. MacDonald was shattered when his penis fell off in 2014, though his testicles remained intact.

The man, who is a father of two kids, is now awaiting a final procedure where doctors will transfer ‘Jimmy’ to the right place.

“Of course it is mad – having a penis on your arm. Not even I am used to it. But when you think about it, it’s actually amazing. That they can make me a new penis at all is incredible – but that they can build it on my arm is mind-blowing. It looks like something out of a weird sci-fi comic. But it’s my chance at a normal life. It’s been the first step towards being able to go to the toilet and even being intimate with someone,” said MacDonald, The Sun reports.

MacDonald also recalled his past days when he struggled due to the absence of his penis. According to MacDonald, he felt lost during these moments, and he started drinking heavily. He also made it clear that he felt his manhood missing during those periods.

“For two years after losing my penis I felt a shadow of a man. My life really fell apart because I had no self-confidence. I drank too much. I didn’t see family and friends – I just didn’t want to have to face up to it,” added MacDonald.

MacDonald is now very happy about the fact that he could stitch the bionic penis to the right place, so that he can lead a normal life like any other man.
