The National Testing Agency (NTA) under Ministry of Education, Government of India will be conducting All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2021 for admission to Class VI and Class IX for the academic year 2021-22. Sainik School, Kazhakootam is the only Sainik School in Kerala.
All candidates are to apply through online only at https://aissee.nta.ac.in between October 20 to November 19, 2020. Schemes/duration/medium/syllabus of examination, list of Sainik Schools and their tentative intake, reservation of seats, exam, cities, passing requirements, important dates etc. relating to the exam are contained in the Information Bulletin hosted on www.nta.ac.in.
Candidates should be between 10 and 12 years as on 31.03.2021 for Class VI and between 13 and 15 years as on 31.03.2021 for Class IX. Admission for Girls is open in Class VI only. The fee for General/Defence Candidates is Rs.550 and SC/ST candidates is Rs.400. The exam fee is also required to be paid online through payment gateway, using debit/credit cards or internet banking or PAYTM Wallet. No Application Form can be obtained directly from School or through post as applying/registration of candidate is only through online.
The date of Entrance Exam is on January 10, 2021 (Sunday). The mode of exam is Pen paper (OMR Sheets based) Multiple Choice Questions.
The admissions will be made strictly in accordance with the merit in the Entrance Examination, Interview and Medical fitness of candidates. The school has not deputed any individual/organisation/institution for admission related coaching/training.
