Al Khuwair Street to Close for Corridor Development Works from June 28

Muscat : Muscat Municipality, in coordination with the Royal Oman Police, has announced a phased closure of Al Khuwair Street as part of the Al Khuwair Corridor Development Project in the Wilayat of Bausher.

  • A partial road closure will be implemented starting the morning of Saturday, June 28, 2025, and will continue until Sunday, June 29, 2025.
  • This will be followed by a full road closure from the morning of Monday, June 30, lasting until the morning of Saturday, July 5, 2025.

The closure is part of ongoing infrastructure upgrades aimed at improving traffic flow and connectivity in the Al Khuwair area. Authorities urge motorists to follow traffic signs and use alternative routes during the closure period.
