Al Buraimi Hospital Launches Advanced Cardiac Care Unit to Enhance Regional Heart Health Services

MUSCAT: Al Buraimi Hospital has inaugurated a state-of-the-art cardiac care unit, marking a significant advancement in specialized healthcare services for the Al Buraimi Governorate. This initiative aligns with the Ministry of Health’s strategic plan to decentralize and enhance cardiac care across Oman.

The new unit is equipped with cutting-edge medical technology and staffed by a team of highly qualified cardiologists and technical personnel. It is designed to provide comprehensive care for both acute and chronic heart conditions, adhering to international treatment protocols to ensure effective and safe medical services.

The opening ceremony was held under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Saeed bin Hareb Al Lamki, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Health Affairs. Attendees were given an introductory tour of the facility, showcasing its advanced equipment and operational mechanisms aimed at delivering prompt and efficient responses to cardiac emergencies.

Dr. Majid bin Rashid Al Muqbali, Director General of Health Services in Al Buraimi Governorate, emphasized that the establishment of the cardiac care unit is part of ongoing development plans to elevate the quality of specialized healthcare services. He noted that the unit provides an integrated treatment environment, enhancing the efficiency of cardiac care in the region.

Dr. Aisha bint Rashid Al Muqbali, Director of Al Buraimi Hospital, highlighted that the new unit represents a significant addition to the hospital’s facilities. She stated that it will contribute to raising healthcare quality indicators in the governorate, ensuring that residents have access to advanced cardiac care without the need to travel to distant medical centers.

This development is part of a broader national effort to expand specialized medical services across Oman, ensuring equitable access to high-quality healthcare for all citizens and residents.
