Abu Dhabi announces new speed limit on two major highways

Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Mobility announced the reduction of speed limit on Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed International Road (E11) from 160 to 140 km/h, starting from April 14, 2025.
The speed limit on Abu Dhabi-Sweihan Road (E20) will be reduced from 120 to 100 km/h, with effect from April 14, 2025.
The recently revised speed limit is part of ongoing efforts to enhance road safety and reduce traffic accidents in the emirate. Abu Dhabi Police urged motorists to adhere to the new speed limit and drive cautiously to ensure the safety of all road users.
