13,586 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

The number of COVID-19 patients is rising alarmingly in the country. In the last 24 hours 13,586 people were confirmed with the virus, the largest single day rise. There were 336 deaths reported in the country in the past 24 hours.

With this the total number of people infected with COVID-19 touched 3,80,532; 12,573 deaths were reported until now; 2,04,711 were cured of the infection and 1,63,248 people were under treatment. The majority of the cases have been reported from Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, New Delhi and Gujarat. At the same time the rate of patients who were cured of the virus is above 50 per cent.
